The Cartika Cluster is built using a combination of Dedicated nodes, Virtual Nodes and Cloud Based Nodes. We utilize the most appropriate infrastructure for the specific services required by clustering services (ie IIS Web Service, MS SQL DB service, DNS, eMail, etc) across specialized infrastructure (dedicated, virtual, cloud) best suited for that specific service. Each Cartika Windows Hosting customer will receive the benefit of a hybrid infrastructure solution with traditional and cloud based architecture running specific services within our cluster. |

Cartika allows fluidity of our shared hosting accounts. Upgrade or downgrade your hosting account as required to gain more server resources (CPU, RAM, IO, Disk, etc). Once you have outgrown a shared hosting account, Cartika can easily move your account, without service interruptions, to an isolated node or nodes. Move your account to a VPS instance, a Cloud server or a Dedicated server. Your account can also be moved, in an almost seamless manner to a cluster of instances or servers. Alternatively, an account can be moved to an isolated instance and then later clustered off to multiple instances. |

The Cartika interface allows for seamless management of all services across the cluster. There is no special configuration or technical knowledge required to manage the services on the cluster. |

Add as many users as you like, manage as many documents and as much content as you like. You are only limited by the space and bandwidth available with your account. Upgrade or downgrade plans seamlessly to add additional resources or remove resources which are no longer required. |

Add a Cloud based Microsoft Exchange 2010 service to any domain you desire right from your hosting control panel. Exchange 2010 is provided for $10/month/user. It includes 20,000MB (20GB) of disk storage for each Exchange User, as well as a full feature set including Forefront Enterprise Grade Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus Solution, Outlook 2010 or Entourage Licensing for each user and much, much more. |

Centrally managed Microsoft Forefront comes standard with our clustered Windows Hosting solution. Forefront centralizes intrusion detection protocol and automatically pushes out new rules and updates across our entire fleet of servers. Real time Anti-Virus scanning, reporting and quarantine protocol for all Windows servers keeps them secure as possible, up to date with the latest security protocol and free of any viruses customers may otherwise be infected with. |

Cartika provides an R1Soft CDP backup and recovery solution for all Windows Hosting customers. We can restore any file, database or email account from any one of 30 daily restore points available of all of your data. In case of a complete disaster to any server within our shared cluster, we can fully Bare Metal Restore (BMR) a server or service from our R1Soft CDP farm in 1-2 hours. No more days of downtime in case of a disaster and resultant settings and permissions issues once the data is finally restored. |

Microsoft WSUS automatic patching and update system. Using our own centralized repository of Microsoft updates and patches, our systems will push out updates to all Windows servers as required. WSUS can push out many updates in a rebootless manner, however, those updates which still require a reboot will be scheduled and completed automatically. Only critical updates will be completed immediately and non critical updates will be automatically scheduled for off hours, over a weekend. |

Cartika uses premium disk configurations as well as redundancy built on top of redundancy for all your data. RAID10 is standard configuration for all of our servers, mirrored across 4-8 drives. Also completely redundant Cartika SSD/SATA-SAS ZFS high availability storage for Cloud Based services. All data is fault tolerant to the loss of 2 or more drives. All data is then backed up 30 times to completely different storage devices and that data is then mirrored across 10-20 drives for additional redundancy. Each GB of data Cartika provides with our hosting packages are equivalent to almost 30GB of actual, raw disk capacity. We value your data and take data redundancy seriously. |
